Today is Open Day. GOD, my starting line is getting more and more boring. Let's try it again.
THE exciting, much-anticipated, nerve-wrecking, fabulous, stupendous, prestigious NJC Annual Open Day is finally here. Hoho now that's exaggeration.
Alrighty, to start off, my mum woke me up late this morning and so I wasn't able to be of much help to the QMs in setting up the booth. So at around 8am, we headed over to AV21 to put on makeup and touch up on our hair. Goodness me, the room was squeezy and badly ventilated. But at least it was better than the other room assigned to us, AV23, which was almost completely devoid of air. Everyone started to whip out their own mirrors and dab on their makeup while Jianfen and I set up a station for the glitter application.
Applying glitter to people causes backache for me. OUCH OUCH OUCH. That's the pain for being tall. HOHO.
The guys had a pretty good time applying makeup because the girls helped them with it. Man, guys out there should see how lucky dance guys are! Getting all the attention and care from these babes. Isn't it a BIG temptation to join Chinese Dance?C:
After that, we all had to find places to practise because most of the school was being used for Open Day activities and the rooms assigned to us were simply unable to facilitate any movement. So we proceeded to the amphitheatre for a while before going to LT1.
I must say the wait was pretty long because we had to go there a few items before the start of our own.
But before you know it, we were ready to take the stage.
The crowd were roaring for your presence and friends were rooting us on. Like I said, the dance today was in fact one of our best time yet. Neatness, flow, excitement, confidence, enjoyment were all up to mark and it made Rachel and I have goosebumps. C: I really really have to repeat this again -- I'm very proud of you dearies! IMPRESSIVE and MOVING. I'm glad that all went well and we did live up to the name of NJCD!C: Man, I feel like a Mama watching her children grow up and all like the DBS advertisement! HOHO you people rock my world!
Thank you Su Laoshi and Wand Laoshi for their guidance and advice so that I won't be contented with just any other standards. C:
Thank you seniors for coming to support us and giving us comments even when you are busy studying. I'm really really touched!C: Love ya'll!
And most importantly, thank you dancers for everything you've done for this event; for staying back almost everyday to practise; for bringing out the best in the choreography; for your willingness to try out my ideas and simply for dancing TOGETHER! And I hope that from this small item, you'll learn to treasure the feeling of dancing beside people you love, knowing that at anywhere else, you'll never have the same experience. It's all about being in sync with your friends heartbeat and defining teamwork as an essential part of dance. YOU ALL TOUCHED ME TODAY BECAUSE YOU ALL WERE REACHING OUT TO US TOGETHER!C: This marks the start of our performances and I'm sure we will improve and get better!C: Jiayous! Love you all darlings!C:
After that, a few of us(Jee Poh, Yuanjie, Jun Hong, Huaiying, Peixuan, Yirong, Youxin, Jianfen and me) went for lunch-dinner at CurryWok. God I could have died laughing there! Hoho HONG HONG~Nina Tan NaNa, Sasha Tan ShaSa~Wahahahhaaa`
On the bus, we were so exhausted that most of us dozed off after a while. zzzzzzz~
Then we went off to Westmall hoping to catch a movie but were disappointed. Nonetheless, we hanged around a little more and cracked a few more jokes, including Junhong's ever famous classic kiwi joke. Died laughing once again before finally heading home.
THE END of a beautiful happy day~

I thought I would never be able to make this entry. Seriously, life has been so busy with so many things to handle, I find it even hard to breathe! Man, I must have repeated this a hundred million times amongst all my entries but Karen's right, I'm ALWAYS busy; ALWAYS having something on and ALWAYS not having a time for rest.
Hmmm, first of all, short summary of Promos:
HORRIBLE.
Okays moving on~
Open Day preparations: the dance has finally got some shape!C: We were shown to real audience for the first time today during tech run. Gosh, I'm so proud of you guys!C: Our efforts paid off! All the practises and refining must have drained all of you like crazy, BUT at least we did our best to uphold NJCD's prestige and hopefully be able to draw people in!C: Man I feel like a rpoud Mama! Wahahaha`Keep up the good work dearies! And thanks so much for working well with me! Love ya all!

Dancepointe End of Year concert: We're still in the midst of preparations. It's all quite hectic and tiring with loads and loads of things to plan and coordinate. Despite the small number of students, it's still difficult planning items and arrangements for everyone, especially when you aim to achieve optimal planning to fit everyone's schedule. The little kids I'm taking are absolutely ADORABLE!C: Though it's really difficult to handle them all and keep them in hand to do serious things, you really can't help falling in love with these lovely babies. They are just so innocent and true that they almost seem pure. What can I say? Kids are beautiful~C: Bet I will be real proud too watching my dear ballet shoes bouncing onstage! OH and I really have to thank Dee for all the help! No way can I take on all the kiddos and handle them myself. Thanks darling!C:
PW: Goodness I don't even want to talk about it. It's really taxing and scary to do PW with all the strict requirements and deadlines. They are like chokers, figuratively.
Hmmmm let's see...what else??
Oh we had a seminar on the SAF today. It was so cool. At first I thought it was going to be one of those retarded talks, which is simply just a waste of time BUT I was dead wrong. Now this is the kind of talks we should have! This talk really made me appreciate the SAF much much more and showed me the heartwarming moments that can be experienced during the time spent there. It made me interested in joining the SAF! Imagine me! JACQ interested in joining the SAF! Goodness me! But this is definitely big talk for me, I will probably just die there given the weakling that I am. HOHO` ARGH I want to be STRONG too!
OH we(Youxin, Huaiying, Yirong and me) had a FINE dinner at IMM just now! It was really mouth-watering delicious, so much so that Youxin's look of enjoyment is still caught in my head. AHHHHH I love the Chin Chow Soya Milk and some silky-beancurd-with-pork-floss-thingy. It made me realised once again how lucky I am to being living so near to IMM. All the wonderful shops like Pepperlunch and Fish N Co and Ajisen Ramen and Espirit and Adidas, etc. are opened! Heaven on Earth! I'm one happy girl!

Haha AhMa is indeed doing her job of finding me a MAN!Wahahhaha keep it up Ahma! At this rate, I might really get married one day! Wooohooo~
